Overview

Email Accounts manages sender identity, mailbox connections, and inbox responder settings for the selected client. Edit each sender's name, title, phone, and type inline, then configure eligible Primary or SDR mailboxes to evaluate replies, create drafts for review, or use globally guarded live automation.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Pick the client in the top-right switcher to load its active email accounts and mailbox-specific responder settings.

  2. Edit sender settings

In the sender table, edit Sender Name, Title, Phone, and Type inline. Changes auto-save shortly after you stop typing, and the identity fields feed the senderName, senderTitle, and senderPhone signature merge fields.

  3. Connect or reconnect a mailbox

Connect a Google, Microsoft 365, or SMTP/IMAP mailbox, or use Re-auth or Reconnect when an existing connected mailbox needs access restored.

  4. Configure an inbox responder

For each Primary or SDR mailbox, choose an automation mode, optionally select a default meeting owner, add a mailbox booking URL, and record reply or booking instructions. The booking URL takes precedence over meeting-owner and deal links, except for a reliably attributed campaign link.

  5. Choose a safe automation mode

Use Off to disable mailbox automation, Shadow evaluation to evaluate without acting, Draft for review to create reviewable drafts, or Live to arm sending. Live still cannot send unless the global live-send guard is enabled.

What the buttons do

Sender name / Title / Phone / Type
Inline sender identity fields that auto-save and feed the senderName, senderTitle, and senderPhone signature merge fields.
Connect a Google mailbox / Connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox / Connect via SMTP/IMAP
Adds a client's own mailbox as a sending account through the selected provider.
Re-auth / Reconnect / Disconnect
Restores a connected mailbox's access, reconnects it when required, or removes its stored provider credentials.
Automation mode
Sets an eligible Primary or SDR mailbox to Off, Shadow evaluation, Draft for review, or globally guarded Live automation.
Default meeting owner
Sets the mailbox's fallback meeting owner, or leaves routing to the contact or deal default.
Mailbox booking URL
Sets a mailbox-specific booking link, which overrides meeting-owner and deal links unless a campaign link is reliably attributed.
Responder instructions / Booking instructions
Stores mailbox-specific reply guidance and booking or handoff guidance for the responder.

Common questions

Sender name, title, and phone populate the senderName, senderTitle, and senderPhone merge fields used in signatures.
The responder section appears for Primary and SDR mailboxes. If none are assigned, ask your SalesHive team to assign an eligible mailbox.
Shadow evaluation evaluates replies without acting. Draft for review creates drafts for a person to review. Live can send only when the separate global live-send guard is enabled. Classification remains available regardless of mode.
